$140 / hr wet · Primary Trainer
The backbone of the FES fleet. A modern, glass-cockpit Light Sport Aircraft with a Rotax 912ULS engine — efficient, capable, and genuinely enjoyable to fly. Used for Sport Pilot, Private Pilot, and time building.
$200 / hr wet · Specialty Aircraft
One of the most unique aircraft flying today. Twin Rotax engines, open tandem cockpit, and an unobstructed aerial view that's unlike anything else. Perfect for aerial photography and multi-engine exposure.
$150 / hr wet · Sport / Transition
A compact, high-performance sport aircraft built for pilots who want to go fast. The Sonex is the fastest aircraft in the FES fleet — a different flying experience that adds real versatility to your logbook.

FAA-certified AATD. Log real training hours toward your certificates — without burning fuel or waiting for good weather.
$70 / hr · FAA Certified AATD
Log up to 2.5 hours toward your Private Pilot, 20 hours toward your Instrument Rating, and up to 50 cumulative hours toward your Commercial certificate (the 50-hr commercial cap includes prior simulator time from PPL and IR). Membership available from $100/month.
In-House Maintenance
FES has a licensed FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic on staff — meaning our aircraft are maintained and returned to service faster than schools that contract out. You don't train in aging equipment. You fly a well-kept, properly maintained fleet.
