Our Story
From the Flight Deck to the Flight School
Fly Eagle Sport was founded in 2015 by Tyler Sepp, an active Army National Guard aviator who flew UH-60 Blackhawks before transitioning to fixed wing. He built FES on a simple conviction: flight training should deliver the same FAA certifications as the big-name academies without the price tag that puts aviation out of reach. By training in modern Light Sport Aircraft and keeping overhead lean, FES lets students focus on flying instead of financing.
Tyler and his wife Valerie — both U.S. Army veterans and active members of the Arizona Army National Guard — now run FES together. The discipline, commitment to safety, and straight talk you get from every FES instructor are the same values both owners live by in uniform. What started as one pilot's vision at KGEU has grown into a full-service school offering every program from Sport Pilot through CFII.
