COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to train the pilot to safely fly their aircraft from one airport to another by the use of their flight and navigation instruments within the air traffic control system. The completion of this course provides the pilot with an Instrument Rating allowing them to fly in weather conditions that would not allow flight under Visual Flight Rules. We use our IFR equipped Remos GX airplane for this course.

Prerequisites:

  • Hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate
  • 35 Hours of cross-country recommended

HOW WE DO IT

We incorporate ground and flight training using our Remos GX airplanes and our comprehensive syllabus to meet the requirements of 14CFR Part 61.65. This course can be “accelerated” down to three weeks IF the student arrives with a completed knowledge test, has an overall strong aviation knowledge and competency, and completed our pre-arrival checklist.
